WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

As our IT Support Administrator, you will:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Administration

  • Manage job postings on multiple platforms and maintain an updated applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Process new sign-on documentation to ensure accurate employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Maintain an applicant and vacancy database to track hiring efficiency.

 

Candidate Experience & People Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Provide a seamless candidate journey, from screening to onboarding.
  • Handle recruitment-related inquiries from both internal stakeholders and external applicants.

 

Screening & Selection

  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates to align with company culture, client needs, and EE strategy.
  • Conduct pre-selection telephonic interviews and coordinate interview processes.
  • Participate in single/panel interviews with hiring managers and facilitate final hiring approvals.

 

Operations & Compliance

  • Conduct background checks, including police screening verifications for technical candidates.
  • Oversee compliance with employment laws and company policies in all hiring practices.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation (medical clearances, contracts, attire) is completed before an employee’s start date.
  • Oversee and maintain entire occupational medical compliance for the entire company.
  • Oversee the PPE Asset Management for the entire company and availability of sufficient stock.

 

 Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare and present monthly/annual recruitment reports and analytics.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, employment laws, and best hiring practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance recruitment efficiency and employer branding.

 

WHAT WE LOOKING FOR! 

Experience and Knowledge

  • 5+ years’ experience focusing specifically on recruitment, ideally within the engineering / service corporate environment
  • recent 3 - 5 years working in a recruiter role - note this is not an HR Generalist position
  • Proven track record of successful hires and process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms.
  • In-depth understanding and application of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory)
  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • A valid driver’s license.
