ARE YOU AN ORGANISED INVENTORY SPECIALIST DRIVEN BY ACCURACY AND EFFICIENCY IN HVAC PROJECTS?
Join our Projects Department as a HVAC Storeman—an integral role in managing stock, raising stores capabilities, and supporting project delivery.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Responsibilities include:
- Receive, verify, bin, label, store, and issue HVAC materials and components with precision.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in systems, conduct regular cycle counts, and perform periodic reconciliations.
- Coordinate closely with Buyer to ensure material availability and resolve stock shortages swiftly.
- Organise a clean and safe store layout, applying FIFO and stock control best practices.
- Track damaged, obsolete, or expired stock and manage returns or disposal protocols.
- Support project teams by preparing material kits for site deliveries.
- Assist with regular inventory audits and the establishment of new storeroom systems and processes.
- Coordinate driver schedules and deliveries in line with project requirements and time lines.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience:
- 5–10 years in storeman, inventory control, or warehouse roles—preferably within HVAC, mechanical projects, or construction-related environments.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric (Mandatory)
- Certificate or Diploma in Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (advantageous)
- Experience with inventory systems (ACPAC/SAGE) and advanced Excel usage

- Skilled in inventory systems and Excel tracking, including reporting and reconciliation
